SISMAT - Sand Filters

It consists of a cylindrical steel tank of vertical or horizontal design, depending on capacity requirements. In the tank are placed a steel plate on which the filter nozzles are mounted, a gravel bed constructed in order to prevent the clogging of nozzles, and filling material, consisting of combinations of quartz sand and anthracite of adequate particle size. The steel tank of with a curved structure is designed to resist the working pressure. Main areas of application are SS and turbidity removal.
