SANDS - Model Opal -Linux Handheld Computer for Meter Data Collection
OPAL is a handheld computer used to download data from electronic tri-vector meters, supporting different protocols like IEC, ANSI and PACT. OPAL can be interfaced with the portable printer for spot billing applications.
OPAL comes with Linux Operating System. It is available in memory sizes ranging from 128 MB to 16 GB.
