The SaveEnergy sludge treatment unit is a simple, static component which is used in conjunction with the SaveEnergy water treatment unit. The filter sludge that comes from the SaveEnergy water treatment unit is pumped into a single-use Big Bag made from a finely woven material. The finely-woven fabric retains the solid particles, whilst allowing the water to flow through the bag.

The filled Big Bag dries out within a few weeks to dry matter consisting of less than 50% of the original volume. The dried filter sludge can be easily disposed of in the single-use Big Bags. Disposal of these bags creates no dust emission whatsoever.
