SAVIO - Model MICO -Multistage Aluminium Centrifugal Blower
The MICO multistage blower features a robust aluminium central case with intermediate stages forming diffusers and return channels, all securely assembled using tie rods for enhanced durability. Engineered for precision, the unit incorporates aluminium suction and pressure heads equipped with labyrinth seals on the shaft to ensure impermeable sealing. The rotor consists of aluminium airfoil impellers which are expertly coupled with a special steel shaft, designed and balanced both statically and dynamically to optimize performance. To maintain high efficiency, centrifugal impellers are reliably mounted and coupled on the shaft. Bearings, composed of both ball and roller types, rest in cast iron supports with ring seals. An automatic lubrication system effectively dispenses with excess grease, simplifying maintenance. The transmission comprises belts and pulleys with an adjustable belt stretcher to sustain consistent operation. For safety, a steel wire mesh casing is provided, adhering to accident-prevention regulations, and the blower can be produced in an ATEX compliant version for zone 1/21 applications.

A safety casing made of steel wire mesh is installed according to accident-prevention regulations on the motor base, providing enhanced protection. Upon request, the equipment can be manufactured in ATEX version, suitable for zone 1 /21 areas.
