DEL was originally founded in 1979 as Drilling Equipment of Lafayette, providing major drilling rig components for the oilfield drilling industry. The business grew quickly after only a year and was incorporated as DEL International, Inc in 1980. When the “oilfield bust” of the 1980’s hit, DEL was blessed with an unforeseen opportunity to provide tanks and mixers to the environmental service industry. In a few short years the company’s metamorphosis lead to the creation of DEL Tank & Filtration Systems which began supplying tank systems to contractors all across the United States. DEL Tank grew rapidly while DEL International became relatively stagnant due to the struggling oilfield. In 1996, DEL Tank and Filtration Systems and DEL International were merged and became DEL Corporation.

Today, DEL is recognized as the primary supplier of customized tank systems and equipment for all types of dredging, dewatering, solids separation, solids control, and solids handling projects across the globe.

40,000 Square Foot Expansion to Our Custom Manufacturing Facility

In 2014, we began construction on our $4.3 million, 40,000 square foot expansion of our already 23 acre manufacturing facility. The new facility features CNC plate rolling equipment, press brakes, and plasma tables, as well as automated and robotic welding equipment. Yes, that means robots! Our new world class facility is now fully online and gives us more control and flexibility over the entire manufacturing process. We're excited about this additional capability and encourage you to think of us for your manufacturing needs beyond tanks and other specialties. If it’s made of steel, we can build it.

DEL’s 23 acre manufacturing facility in Scott, LA offers full service design and manufacturing for its customers unique equipment requirements.

Although we have grown, our values have remained the same. We provide equipment that you can depend on, and prompt response to all customer needs. Our customers continue to come back to us for solutions on their unique dewatering projects. We have designed systems from 100 gpm up to 10,000 gpm to handle slurries containing gravel, sands, silts, clays, organics, hog waste, horse manure, coal fines, coke fines, fly ash, bottom ash, tank bottoms, drilling mud, contaminated sediment such as PCB's or hydrocarbons and many more.
