Schleuniger PowerStrip - Model 9580 -Automatic Cut & Strip Machine
The modular PowerStrip 9580 processes a wide range of applications with wires of 0.5 – 16 mm (0.0196 – 0.63") in diameter and cross sections of 0.5 – 70 mm² (26 – 2/0 AWG). The PowerStrip 9580 automatic cut & strip machine, with its modular design and numerous equipment and configuration options, can be adapted to customer-specific production requirements and retrofitted at any time.Optional cutting units, including SmartDetect, prevent defective cables from being used in the final product. This sensor-controlled system monitors the stripping process in real time, detecting any contact between the stripping blade and the inner conductor.Discrete wires with cross-sections up to 70 mm² (2/0 AWG), shielded cables, and complex multiconductors can be processed in one automated operation. As application requirements change, the machine allows for specific configurations and adaptations now or in the future.
Quick and Toolless Changeovers for Reduced Downtime
Entire blade cartridge sets can be changed within seconds thanks to the SmartBlade system. This process can even be done without any tools.
The powerful servomotors on the PowerStrip 9580 ensure quick feed rates with a transport speed of up to 4 m/sec and high pull-off forces.
