Schleuniger PreFeeder - Model 1000 -Universal Benchtop Prefeeder Machine
The PreFeeder 1000 handles reels weighing up to 20 kg (44.4 lbs.) and cables with up to 6 mm (0.236") in diameter for tension-free prefeeding to automatic wire processing machine. The universal benchtop prefeeder, the PreFeeder 1000, is designed for constant tension-free dereeling of a wide variety of cables, wires, and tubes, with a pulling speed of up to 1.8 m/s (5.9 ft/s). It accepts both cable reels and loose cable rings, making it universally employable. A pendulum arm activates the electronic control system, automatically adjusting the feed rate to match the requirements of downstream cable processing machines. The integrated dancer arm ensures stress- and tension-free cable feeding. With its closed-loop concept, the PreFeeder 1000 integrates seamlessly into processing lines or operates as a stand-alone system. Its standard serial interface for connecting to production machines halts the entire installation immediately in case of any cable feed malfunction.
