Schleuniger PullTester - Model 28 -Benchtop Pull Force Testing Device
The benchtop PullTester 27 measures pull forces of 2,000 and 5,000 N as standard, or optionally 5,000 and 10,000 N, for wire crimp and ultrasonic metal welding connections. The PullTester 28 measures pull forces of wire crimp connections as well as ultrasonic metal welding connections on a wider range of wires. It can also perform nondestructive tests (hold to a specified force). The PullTester 28 comes in two versions: The standard version uses individually calibrated measuring ranges of 2,000 and 5,000 N (440 / 1,100 lbf) enabling use for small or large cables. The special PullTester 28-10 uses forces of 5,000 / 10,000 N (1,100 / 2,200 lbf).The speed-controlled motor ensures consistent pull rates throughout the measuring range resulting in repeatable, accurate data displayed in poundforce, Newtons or kiloponds. The terminal holder can be designed and manufactured based on custom needs and easily be changed utilizing a convenient quick change system.
