MION - Screw Conveyors
Screw conveyors are used to transport and unload granular materials from silos, over a given distance from the PA filters outlet and cyclones. The screw conveyors are composed of a spiral with a motor that creates the motion, one or more input and output doors for the material and one or more inspection doors. The latter are installed on the client`s request.
The outer body of the screw conveyor comes in two types: cradle or circular sleeve.
The choice of the carrier depends on the type of work entailed. The cradle carrier is installed downstream of the hopper of a PA filter or as a convevor from one or more material outlets and works horizontally or in a slightly inclined position, while the circular sleeve conveyor is installed to transport and unload material horizontally, inclined or vertically. The machinery conforms to EC Machinery Directive, Atex, PED, Pr. Decree 203 88 and subsequent.
DIMENSIONS
- The screw is of a standard length, based on the needs of the plant.
- The diameter of the standard spiral is 300 mm.
