FILTRAMAS - Model TTP -Screw Sifter
The TTP screw sieve is a simple but robust design equipment, ideal for pre-treatment in small sewage plants and industries, installed directly in a channel. It provides excellent performance at a very competitive price, as it includes several processes in the same equipment: sieving, transporting and compacting the waste before unloading the solids into a container.
The waste water flows through the screen, which is installed directly in the intake channel, and in this way the suspended solids are retained according to the passage width of the filter screen. Smaller solids can be retained due to basket clogging, resulting an even better sieving.
When the water reaches a pre-set level, the screw begins to rotate, cleaning the filter screen and transporting the retained residue to the compaction and discharge zone. The cleaning of the mesh is carried out by means of a very resistant brush incorporated in the screw in the area of the basket. The filtering mesh is semi-circular in shape and is made of perforated stainless steel plate. The standard gap size are 3 and 6 mm.
In the compaction zone there is an antechamber with a drainage profile that allows the raised solids to be drained and compacted before being unloaded into the container. The pressing area is fitted with a standard water connection for washing the residue and for regular maintenance cleaning.
