Traveling Screens

FILTRAMAS - Band Screens

The band Screen built by FILTRAMAS, S.A. are specifically designed for continuous operation in fresh water intakes of rivers, dams or sea. They are of robust and durable design and in the double flow model guarantee an optimal filtration without the possibility of larger size solids of larger size than the installed light passing through.

FILTRAMAS - SCM Channel Screen

The SCM self-cleaning screen is a self-cleaning, single-flow, continuous travelling screen, adapted to work by extracting the solids in wastewater. Unlike single flow band screens, which are common in large water intakes or irrigation systems, the SCM screen is designed to be installed in small and medium sized channels. The screen is designed to remove solids of a maximum size of 125 mm, so the installation must have appropriated previous protection.

Screens

FILTRAMAS - Model ER - Screens

The “ER” model screen cleaner is a machine with simple and robust design which includes a filtering grid with straight bars. Its use is recommended in deep channels with widths below 3 meters.

FILTRAMAS - Model PR - Screens

The PR Screen is specifically designed for installation in deep channels or manholes, with a minimum span of 10 mm for front cleaning and 15 mm for counterflow cleaning. It is capable of lifting large quantities of solids and very large solids, making it suitable for use as a coarse coulter in difficult locations with large amounts of water and/or very deep wells.

In- Line Filters

FILTRAMAS - Model FB - Self-cleaning Filter

The self-cleaning filter FB is a very versatile and easy to install device designed for the removal of solids from 0.1 mm in pressure pipe circuits. These devices allow to continue filtering at the same time as self-cleaning; they are especially suitable for those applications where continuous filtering is an important parameter of the process.

Sieves

FILTRAMAS - Model RDS - Static Sieve

The FILTRAESTATIC RDS sieve offers an economical solution for solid-liquid separation in a continuous process, with little need for maintenance service and no energy incorporation. The solids are extracted already drained, allowing their reuse in order to maximize the profitability of many processes.

FILTRAMAS - Rotary Strainer GF Filtrarotor

The FILTRAROTOR rotary sieve is high performance equipment, especially recommended for the separation of suspended solids in highly charged water. The capacity of the FILTEROTOR sieve is approximately THREE times greater than that of the FILTRAESTATIC sieve, at the same machine width. The FILTRAROTOR sieve consists of a filtering cylinder that rotates attached to a rectangular spillway. The drum rotates the retained solids as the water flows freely through the drum. The solids are evacuated from the machine by means of cleaning scrapers. The FILTRAROTOR has an internal tube with flat jet nozzles for pressure washing of the filter drum as standard. This equipment is widely used in multiple applications (wastewater pre-treatment , screening of sludge, sieving of process water from canning industry, pulping in wine and sugar industry, slaughterhouse waste, fish canneries, separation of solid manure, industrial processes, etc.).

Waste Compacting Conveyors

FILTRAMAS - Model TT and TP - Screw Conveyors

In all wastewater treatment plants, treatment plants, pumping stations, etc., a grinding process is carried out to generate waste. The amount of waste roughened will depend directly on the clearance of the equipment used for this function and on the dimensions of the transport manifolds.

FILTRAMAS - FP Compactor

The FP hydraulic presses are particularly suitable for compacting coarse screen waste due to the nature of the solids extracted by the screen and the possibility of screw jamming. The body construction is made of stainless steel. The compacted solids are evacuated through a pipe. In all wastewater treatment plants, treatment plants, pumping stations, etc., a grinding process is carried out to generate waste. The amount of waste roughened will depend directly on the clearance of the equipment used for this function and on the dimensions of the transport manifolds. The dry matter content of roughing residues in urban water is between 10-25%, depending on the sieving process, and the organic content can be up to 90%. Due to the high water content we must treat the waste before its treatment. The best way is to press it down to reduce the moisture content of the residue considerably.

FILTRAMAS - Model TTP - Screw Sifter

The TTP screw sieve is a simple but robust design equipment, ideal for pre-treatment in small sewage plants and industries, installed directly in a channel. It provides excellent performance at a very competitive price, as it includes several processes in the same equipment: sieving, transporting and compacting the waste before unloading the solids into a container.
