AW - Model KF 2,5 -Sediment Filtration Plant

Principle
Filtration under pressure through special gravel-packed filters and / or active carbon.

Function
The plant works in descending flow, in the reverse while backwashing - meaning that water flows through the filter from top to bottom. The filters are controlled by a manometer at the entrance and the discharge. If the pressure difference is more the 0.5 bar or the maximum operating time has been reached, the filter has to be backwashed. This process can be automated as well as started manually.
