Nijhuis Water Technology’s range of Aquarakes are designed to remove solids from the wastewater. The solids are transported and discharged by an endless belt of filter elements,

Depending on your type of wastewater and the application the sloth width of the elements can be selected from 1 mm, 3 mm, 6 mm, 10 mm and 15 mm.

The Aquarake (NPS) filter can be installed either in channels and gutters or in special built pumppits. Based on the location and positioning of the filter (depth, width and discharge height) the length of the Aquarake will be determined.

The Aquarake filter is cleaned by the special rotation of the endless belt of filter elements. If the wastewater contains grease and sticky materials additional cleaning with a brush or hot water can be included in the design.
