Stebatec GiWASelf-sufficient Screen Rake

SHARE

The self-sufficient GiWA brand sieve screen is driven by the integrated water wheel and can be fully connected to process control systems via mobile communications and monitored in real time. Thanks to the intelligent use of naturally available hydro energy, the entire process does not require a power supply. The environmentally friendly computing operation therefore works reliably even when there is a power shortage. The series-produced and modularly usable self-sufficient screen screen is a very cost-effective investment in a long-term clean future.

In addition, the self-sufficient screen screen is very low-maintenance thanks to the robust mechanics, which work independently of sensitive electronics and sensors. The fine scraper mechanism does not shred the screenings, as there are only very short scraper paths. Optimum retention of floating material is therefore guaranteed. By stripping vertically, the self-sufficient screen can also be subjected to flow from the front and still reliably free itself from the screenings.

No special assembly openings on the structures are required for assembly and maintenance. A round shaft entrance of 590 mm is sufficient to be able to insert the rake into the structure. Thanks to its simple modular design, the self-sufficient screen requires no special maintenance and is maintained independently by the operating staff.

Thanks to its space-saving design, the self-sufficient screen screen is also suitable for very tight spaces. Thanks to the independent operation of power sources, it can be used in any structure. The rake feels most at home in complex and remote structures. In addition, the globally unique and patented scraper mechanism guarantees reliable operation even when there is an overload of solids.

  • Completely self-sufficient operation using hydropower
  • Independent water wheels (one drive per 2m computing element) increase operational safety
  • Variable rake width between 1.75m and 2m
  • Maximum operational safety thanks to robust mechanics without sensitive electronics
  • Ideal retention properties thanks to vertically arranged bars, which hold back floating material more effectively than horizontally structured rake elements
  • Patented and globally unique scraper mechanism for overloading of solids
  • Easy installation and maintenance from the relief side
  • Can be quickly dismantled into all individual parts and put back together again
  • Shaft opening of Ø590 mm is sufficient
  • Also ideal for retrofitting
  • Optional electric drive

Why rely on the self-sufficient screen screen?

  • 100% off-grid operation
  • Keeps water & environment clean
  • Easy to install with little maintenance required
  • Space saving
  • Quick commissioning in every shaft
