Oizom - Model PM10 -0-5000 µg/m3 -Sensor Module
The Particulate Matter sensor module can accurately measure suspended particulate matter (PM10) in the ambient air. The sensor module design is capable to monitor the atmospheric particulate matter concentration on a real-time basis. The advanced support electronics of this air quality sensor makes it compact and reliable. The PM10 sensor works on laser scattering technology and it works on active sampling.
The particulate matter sensor works on fan-based active sampling and provides particle concentration in near real-time conditions. The advanced lasers and heavy-duty fan ensures accurate data and stable long term output.
The outdoor air quality monitoring systems like Polludrone Lite and Polludrone Smart use this particulate matter sensor module. Therefore, the PM10 sensor module is used in multiple applications like National air quality monitoring, Environmental health impact, Construction monitoring, and air quality research projects.

The air particulate monitor based on the physical principle of light scattering, also known as optical particle counter (OPC), measures dust particles illuminated by laser light at a 90° angle. The light scattered from each particle is collected at approximately 90° by a mirror and detected by a photo-diode. This signal is then fed into a multi-channel size classifier where a pulse height analyzer is used to classify each pulse that is proportional to the particle size. The counts in the channel corresponding to PM10 are converted to the concentration of PM10.
