SENSYS - Model SBL10 -Magnetic Detection Device
This rugged product is a very compact handheld device for detection of ferromagnetic objects in the ground. Easy and intuitive to operat. Ready within seconds..
The most popular SENSYS product
Following the introduction, the SBL10 is a very compact handheld device for the detection of ferromagnetic objects in the ground and one of the best-selling products from SENSYS. Weighing only 3.7 kg and with a clear control display, it is easy and intuitive to use. Due to its folding mechanism, it requires no assembly and is ready for use within seconds. All the features and supplements to the device attract customers worldwide to use it.
Application
When being used with an additional probe FGM400/38 and cable (simply connected to the top of the SBL10 control unit) the device is ready for borehole or underwater surveys.
The measurement range of both probes is ±30,000nT and enables detection of small pieces as well as of deeply buried heavy objects in depths of five to six meters.
Three different modes allow for surveys on clear or noisy ground as well as in front of fences or rails.
Two battery compartments are used in sequence with an intelligent power management to ensure more than 100 working hours with only one set of standard LR20 batteries.
Flexible and Slim
The connection of the additional probe as well as wireless connectable rugged PDA for data recording always keeps the SBL10 as slim as possible but as flexible as needed. Furthermore, the SENSYS MonSX software on the PDA for data recording also allows for an instant view of the covered field as color coded map. That allows a first intepretation of the operator whilst in the field. On top, all parts fit into a light weight fully rugged casing that is easy to store and transport.
SENSYS GO - Our Solution for your best pratice
With SENSYS GO we introduce an Android based app for data logging for SBL10, DBL15 and the BM2 borehole systems. This not only replaces the Windows CE-based MonSX, but also enables the expansion of cloud-based functions, faster color map creation and data checking while still on site, and the binding of smartphone-typical sensor systems.
