Hydro-Vacuum - Model TS -Sewage Pumping Station with Separation of Solids
Wastewater pumping stations with separation of solids are a solution to basic problems in sanitary and combined sewage systems, i.e. clogging of hydraulic systems in sewage infrastructure facilities, clogging of gravity and pressure pipelines, rotting of sewage in retention tanks, blocking or damage of pump impellers due to the presence of solids in the pumped medium and low hydration of the sewage. As a consequence of the above-mentioned phenomena, pumps often malfunction and require servicing or replacement.
Frequent failures generate high operating costs. The use of pumps with very large free passages only partially eliminates the problems discussed, but at the same time increases the amount and therefore the costs of energy used for pumping sewage. Pumps with large passages are unfortunately characterized by relatively low energy efficiency.
Wastewater pumping stations with separation of solids solve all the problems described thanks to their design and in particular the application of a solids separation system, acceleration of sewage rotation in retention tanks, and the use of pumps with narrower hydraulic channels and thus high energy efficiency.
