When a more advanced treatment is required to meet your demanding water treatment goals, use our H2O Spectrum® +Plus technology:

  1. The primary stage includes chemical pre-treatment technologies, including our flagship H2O Floc™ chemistry, followed by our secondary treatment with our H2O Spectrum® -Lite technologies, designed to remove the chemically targeted impurities.
  2. In the tertiary stage, H2O Spectrum® +Plus incorporates advanced technologies for biological treatment, followed by desalination. Clean brine concentrate (10# Brine) is produced and ready for use.
  3. Treated flowback and produced water supply is made ready for cost-effective and safe surface water discharge.
When your goal is to treat flowback and produced water for safe and economic surface discharge to meet state, federal, or international standards, our most advanced water treatment H2O Spectrum® +Plus is the most effective technology on the market.

H2O Spectrum® +Plus incorporates all stages of our H2O Spectrum® Platform,  including our H2O Floc™ and H2O Spectrum® -Lite, as well as the most complete, cost-effective advanced biological and desalination technologies.

The first stage’s primary treatment objectives are the removal of oil and grease and total suspended solids via our H2O Floc™, a green alginate flocculant that removes these targeted impurities prior to the secondary stage of the process, and when needed, is used in conjunction with an oxidant to oxidize metals, and biocide to kill bacteria.

H2O Spectrum® +Plus also incorporates our secondary treatment stage including our proven H2O Spectrum® -Lite technologies used for removing the chemically targeted impurities. These technologies include our various Dissolved Air Flotation (DAFs) designs and Multi-method Filtration (MMFs) as well as other separation technologies.

Industry leading key water treatment performance KPIs for this stage include solids removal to less than 1-3 NTU, oil in water to less than 2 mg/l, iron to less than 1 mg/l and complete bacteria kill.

In the final stage, our H2O Spectrum® +Plus incorporates advanced technologies for biological treatment and desalination, achieving treated flowback and produced water supply ready for safe and economic surface water discharge.
