Silcarbon also provides the following filter materials for water purification: Quartz sand: Filter sand. Anthracite: Filter coal N. Lignite coal: Filter coal H.
Product Details
Quartz sand and anthracite are mostly used for removing turbidity in water filtration.
Filter coal H is primarily applied in swimming-pool filters for removing turbidity. Filter coal H also has dechlorination characteristics.
Quartz sand is offered in the following grain sizes:
- 0.7 – 1.2 mm
- 1 – 2 mm
- 2 – 3.15 mm
- 3 – 5 mm
Anthracite N is provided in the following grain sizes:
- 0.6 – 1.6 mm
- 1.4 – 2.5 mm
- 2 – 4 mm
Filter coal H is provided in the following grain sizes:
- 0,5 – 1,6 mm
- 1,4 – 2,5 mm
