Dickow Pumpen - Model Type SMV -Single-Stage, Self-Priming Side Channel Pump
Type SMV is a single-stage, self-priming side channel pump in a vertical position with opposing suction and discharge ports. In addition to the self-priming ability side channel pumps have the advantage due to their high pressure factor to work more economically when pumping small flow rates against relatively high pressure level than normal centrifugal pumps. The atmosphere is sealed by chambered O-rings.
The bearing of the pump shaft takes place in plain bearings.The pump has a permanent magnet coupling, and the containment shell hermetically seals the fluid to the outside.
An internal circulation current dissipates the heat generated by the eddy current losses.
The additional motor is directly mounted, additional rolling bearings and a mechanical coupling omitted.
