It consists of a cylindrical screen and a spiral that cleans it. It can be positioned at an angle of 30-50 depending on the wastewater channel or the location where it will operate. The screen can be manufactured in perforated or wedge-wire models. Screenings accumulated on the screen during flow are pressed and discharged, like in screw conveyors. It can be operated in time-controlled, level-controlled, or both time- and level-controlled mode.
