Fields of application Improves slip properties of polyolefins. It can also be used as a release agent for injection moulded products. Examples (L)LDPE, HDPE, and PP films, sheets, profiles, injection moulded products, etc. Mode of action PYCNO 192 reduces friction between two surfaces for instance between polymer and metal. As a consequence the slip properties of the product are improved.

  • Characteristics Composition proprietary additive formulation, LDPE based.
  • Appearance Translucent granules.
  • Storage and handling 12 months from delivery in original packaging. Keep in a cool, dry and well-ventilated area.
  • Temperature stability Suitable for processing temperatures up to 250 °C.
  • Dosing level Recommended dosing level is between 0.75 – 2 %. When used as a mould release agent a dosing level of 1% is recommended.
