HYKO - Model 110 -Smart Wall Mount Clamp on Ultrasonic Flow Meter
HYKO110 is a Smart Wall mount Clamp on ultrasonic flow meter is designed to measure the fluid velocity of liquid within a closed conduit. This product comes inbuilt feature of SD card for massive flow data storage.
The transducers are a non-contacting, clamp-on type, which will provide benefits of non-fouling operation and easy installation. It is transit-time flow meter utilizes two transducers that function as both ultrasonic transmitters and receivers. The transducers are clamped on the outside of a closed pipe at a specific distance from each other. The transducers can be mounted in V-method where the sound transverses the pipe twice, or W-method where the sound transverses the pipe four times, or in Z-method where the transducers are mounted on opposite sides of the pipe and the sound crosses the pipe once. This selection of the mounting method depends on pipe and liquid characteristics. The flow meter operates by alternately transmitting and receiving a frequency modulated burst of sound energy between the two transducers and measuring the transit time that it takes for sound to travel between the two transducers. The difference in the transit time measured is directly and exactly related to the velocity of the liquid in the pipe. It can be used for metallic, plastic and rubber tubes. Applications include Running Water, HAVC, Water Conservation, Metallurgy, Chemical Industry, Machinery, Energy.

Ultrasonic flow measurement is a method of measuring the flow rate of liquids using ultrasonic technology. It has several benefits over other flow measurement methods, such as:
- Non-intrusive: Ultrasonic flow meters are non-intrusive, meaning they do not come into contact with the liquid being measured. This makes them suitable for use in applications where the liquid is hazardous or difficult to access.
- High accuracy: Ultrasonic flow meters provide high accuracy measurements, even when the flow rate is low or irregular.
- Wide measurement range: They can measure flow rates over a wide range, from very low to very high, making them suitable for use in a variety of industrial applications.
- Suitable for various liquid types: They can measure flow in liquids of different viscosity, density, and temperature, making them suitable for use in a wide range of applications.
- Low maintenance: They require minimal maintenance, making them cost-effective over time.
- Easy to install: They are easy to install and can be integrated into existing process control systems.
- Remote monitoring: They can be connected to remote monitoring systems, which allow for real-time monitoring and control of the process.
- Clamp-on design: Clamp-on ultrasonic flow meters are designed to be clamped on the outside of pipes, which eliminates the need to cut into the pipe and reduces installation time and cost.
HYKO ultrasonic flow measurement is a non-intrusive method that provides high accuracy measurements over a wide range, suitable for various liquid types and requires low maintenance. Additionally, it can be easily installed and integrated into existing systems, allowing for remote monitoring and control.
