SMT manufactures the most reliable silica based Octadecyl (C18) UHPLC, HPLC, Semi-Prep, and Prep columns available in the market. SMT Symplex C18 columns are chemically bonded with monofunctional Octadecyl (C18) group. The phase is extremely well end-capped. The bonded phase results in high density of C18 molecules (Carbon Load: 15%). SMT utilizes a proprietary bonding scheme that allows the resulting bonded phases to perform reliably. SMT Symplex C18 columns are made with spherical silica with ultra-high surface area for extremely sensitive and exceptional performance.
