EnviroGrid Geocell - Soil Stabilization & Load Support
First developed in the 1970s by the US Army Corps of Engineers as a way to construct roads over soft soils, geocell provides stabilization and erosion control solutions for construction and industrial challenges worldwide. EnviroGrid® Geocell is a three-dimensional system that confines and strengthens infill material within its honeycomb-like structure. By adding stability to local infill material, our base stabilization EnviroGrid® Geocell makes it possible to build roads and foundations over soft subgrades in even the most challenging areas.
CELLULAR CONFINEMENT
EnviroGrid® uses cellular confinement technology to disperse the weight to significantly reduce sub-base pressure. By stabilizing and improving the native infill, geocell increases the weight bearing capacity of the rolling course, preventing ruts and erosion in high-traffic areas.
