NES - Soil Vapor Extraction (SVE) Blowers
Soil Vapor Extraction (SVE) is a technique to rapidly remove volatile contaminants from the subsurface. Once the pilot test has been completed and the required flow-rates and vacuums have been determined the selection of the proper equipment can begin.

At NES we have specified SVE systems using the following blowers and pumps:
- Rotary Lobe Blowers – used for low to medium vacuum at higher flow rates
- Rotary Claw Blowers – used for low to high vacuum at lower flow rates
- Regenerative Blowers – used for low vacuum at lower flow rates
- Liquid Ring Pumps – used for high vacuum applications
SVE Remediation Components include the following standard equipment:
- Moisture Separator with emergency high level switch
- Inline Filter
- Vacuum Relief & Air Dilution Valves
- Pressure/Vacuum gauges rated for the application
- Temperature gauge(s)
- In-line & discharge plumbing rated for system vacuum & flow
