SOLIDAT SonarSilt - Silt Interface Meter
The SonarSilt sludge interface instrument emits acoustic pulses through a sensor to the interface at the bottom of the clarifier, or to the flocculent medium layer at the bottom of the tank. The sonar signal is reflected to the sonar sensor through the interface. After the return signal is processed and temperature compensated by the transmitter, a distance reading is obtained, and a corresponding interface or floc medium layer height output is given.
The SonarAnalyst multi-layer sludge analysis system uses high-frequency sound waves to attenuate different sound speeds and energy in liquids with different concentrations. By moving the sonar sensor, parameters such as the sound speed and energy intensity of ultrasonic waves at different liquid level heights are collected. After the data is analyzed by Sonar Analysis software, the heights of the clear liquid layer, sedimentation layer, and sludge layer are obtained, enabling simultaneous measurement of multiple parameters.
