Solinst - Model 201 -Water Level Temperature (WLT) Meter

Accurate temperature measurements are clearly displayed on an LCD readout on the faceplate, from -20ºC to +125ºC.
Water level and probe depth measurements are read off the Solinst durable PVDF flat tape. Tape lengths are available up to 600m.

Integrated temperature measurement, model 201

With the integrated temperature measurement it is possible to create a temperature profile in addition to measuring the water level. With this key parameter, you are equipped for future environmental measurement requirements. The water temperature is displayed on the LCD of the cable drum and covers a measuring range from -20°C to +125°C.

Water temperature is a key parameter that influences various physical, chemical and microbial processes. Especially the solubility of gases and groundwater organisms show a sensitive dependence on the temperature in the water.

This important environmental parameter can be measured easily and reliably with this device.

Long-life stainless steel measuring probe

The probe is made of stainless steel and is waterproof up to 300m. The measuring point is placed close to the probe tip to minimise water displacement during the measuring process.
The temperature sensor is integrated in the tip of the probe and provides accurate readings from -20°C to 125°C. The probe as a whole acts as a heat sink. The entire probe acts as a heat sink, which is why it should be completely submerged in water for more accurate measurement results. The connection between the measuring tape and the probe is designed for easy exchange, so that the probe can be replaced individually if this should become necessary.
