Salzgitter - Soot Blowers for Industrial Applications
Salzgitter Kesselservice's soot blower systems are designed for the demanding conditions of waste incineration plants and biomass power plants. These systems utilize various cleaning media including steam, compressed air, or water, depending on the cleaning task and availability. With over 20 years of experience, the company manufactures these systems exclusively in their Salzgitter plant, ensuring high quality and quick delivery. Key features include robust construction suitable for power plants, a modular design to minimize spare part inventory, a cast valve for extended lifespan, and standard blow jet offset to protect heating surfaces. Specific models include the LSB22, which utilizes a spiral movement suitable for temperatures up to 1000°C, the SB22 ideal for gas temperatures up to 450°C with partial immersion in the gas pathway, the PB22 designed for directional cleaning with pendulum motion, the TB22 for economizers and SCR systems, and the DB22 for heat exchangers with lighter fouling up to 500°C.
The traverse blower is designed for cleaning economizers and catalysts (SCR systems) at flue gas temperatures of up to approx. 500° C. An axially movable traverse with special high-performance nozzles enables the economizer or catalyst to be cleaned particularly effectively.
