Noardling Desah - Source-Separated Wastewater Treatment Plant
By collecting and treating grey and black water separately at source, drinking water consumption can be reduced and water, energy and raw materials recovered and reused. Black and grey water are treated energy-efficiently. The treated water can then be safely discharged or reused.

Desah applies its technologies in high-profile projects worldwide. Below are some leading cases in which Desah realises local and wastewater treatment.
Helsingborg, Sweden - example of circular sanitation
In the circular housing estate Oceanhamnen, Desah designed and delivered an innovative treatment system in which black and grey water is separated and processed directly at source. This project was awarded the Global Water Award 2022 and previously won the Innovation Challenge 2015.
Noorderhoek, Sneek - the world`s first circular housing estate
In the Noorderhoek district, 207 homes have been connected to Desah`s innovative water treatment system. Greywater and blackwater are collected separately and processed locally, drastically reducing drinking water consumption.
Government offices in The Hague - sustainable sanitation concept for 6,000 civil servants
At the Rijkskantoor on Rijnstraat in The Hague, all wastewater is treated locally with an advanced Desah system. This innovative sanitation concept saves water, reduces treatment costs and recovers energy and nutrients.
