PromoChrom - SPE Mini-Disks for Environmental Sample Extraction
PromoChrom Technologies has innovated Mini-disks to capture the advantages of SPE disks, particularly in extraction speed, while addressing their limitations in solvent consumption and automation. These Mini-disks are designed with a format size similar to a 30-mm syringe filter and provide an increased cross-section area five times that of a 6-mL SPE cartridge. This larger cross-sectional area, combined with optimized sorbent properties, allows Mini-disks to operate at higher flow rates compared to traditional SPE cartridges. Their compact size facilitates seamless integration with cartridge-type SPE instruments and minimizes solvent usage. Mini-disks are also compatible with standard luer slip connections, making them suitable for automated SPE systems and vacuum manifolds. Additionally, they feature narrow particle-size distribution sorbent material composed of 25-um spherical beads, enhancing sample capacity and reducing resistance to liquid flow. The anti-clogging frit technology further improves tolerance to particulates, making these Mini-disks a robust solution for solid phase extraction applications, including the automated extraction of TCLP semi-volatiles targeting basic, neutral, and acidic compounds.Most popular related searches

System Compatibility

Narrow Particle-size Distribution
The sorbent material for the Mini-disks are made up of 25-um spherical beads with very narrow size distribution. This smaller bead size increases sample capacity while the uniform distribution offers lower resistance to liquid passing through the disk.
