RSBP - Model FIREPRO -Spray Booths
The surface treatment is usually done by automatic painting systems, such technology is endangered by high probability of fire or explosion. This danger is present in spray booths for the application of organic liquid and powder coating materials.
RSBP`s special FIREPRO system for the protection of spray booths provides a complex solution consisting of services and products related to fire protection, delivery, up to the complete installation and maintenance. Thus the risk of fire is minimalized. Suitably designed and installed fire protection saves up expenses for repairs and recommissioning.
The FIREPRO system meets the safety requirements for fire protection of spray booths according to EN 16985, EN ISO 19353, EN 50176, and EN 50177.
SYSTEM FUNCTION
Highly sensitive detectors constantly check all critical points in the spray booth. If the detector distinguishes flames, it sends a signal to the control unit. The control panel evaluates the signal and if the fire is recognized, activates the fire extinguishing system. Everything takes place in units of milliseconds. The control panel is also connected to the control system of the painting lines and subsequently shuts down the spraying equipment to prevent further dosing of flammable substances into the protected areas. The resulting fire in the spray booth is extinguished very quickly and efficiently by the RSBP`s FIREPRO protection system so that the production lines can be put back into the operation in a short time. Only this complex type of protection minimizes costs and downtime caused by fire.
