Genius5 - Model AiO -Stack Sampling System
Genius5 AiO system developed to support EU Commission implementing decision 2017/1442 and plant operators. Commission implementing decision (EU) 2017/1442 defines very low limit valus for the emission of mercury. Incinerators >= 300 MW have to measure contineously, incinerators <= 300 MW have to measure 4 times a year using EN 13211. The legal limit values for mercury are reduced to 1 - 2 µg/m3. New plants have to fulfill this limit before 17th August 2018, existing incinerators, plants have to fullfil this very low limit value in the year 2021.
Calibration of the contineous mercury analyzer has to be done by using the reference method EN 13211 in the range of the legal limit.
Increase the accuracy of the calibration in range 0.1 - 5 µg/m3.
It uses 1 dust filter, 2 impinger sampling lines and 2 sorbenttrap sampling lines.
Small sorbent trap unit for small money
To enable quick evaluation of mercury sources, we have developed a small sorbent trap system, which samples the mercury at 2 sorbent traps for 1 week or 1 month.- Range of application 0.05 to 30 µg Hg/m3. It is a cheap alternative to expensive contineous mercury monitors. Please ask for a quote.

Fuel cell leak test
Because of the use of hydrogen, fuel cells need a highly accurate leak test. For all of our sampling systems we have developped a very accurate leaktest.We have developed the Genius5 Leak with the focus to do leak tests only. This device can be used to do a leaktest for fuel cells, their components and the piping system. The loss is calculated in Pa/min or ml/min. Simple and clever for more safety.
Mercurymakes children stupid
Methylmercury is a big danger for humans and environment, because it is enriched in the food chain For the humans the enrichment happens in brain and bone marrow. Especially at embryo and child/toddler age the methylmercury causes damages in the brain, resulting in loss of IQ (intelligence).
Therefore mercury emissions from incinerators or cement plants shall be as low as possible, using the best available techniques in flue gas cleaning. Reduction of mercury emissions to 10% of the existing legal limit of 30 µg/m3 is state of the art.
Because mercury emissions are distributed worldwide, the environmental program of United Nations, has initiated a worldwide agreement (similar to Kyoto protocol). In 2013, 128 countries have signed this agreement (www.mercuryconvention.org).
The AiO system is used to measure mercury as a meanvalue of 2 sorbent traps and two impinger sampling train. It provides quality assurance with evaluation of breakthrough and loss of internal standard. With these QA steps, the measured value have high accuracy, even at concentration levels below 1 µg/m3.
