Staco Artdeck - Gratings
Artdeck gratings consist of robust pressed gratings. By filling the mesh with coloured granulate (EPDM), the characteristic Artdeck surface is created. To ensure that this granulate filling does not shift, supporting strips are mounted. This granulate filling can also be used for stair treads. Artdeck gratings are permeable, sound-absorbing and have a rough surface. Artdeck is exceptionally well-suited for stair treads, bridge decks and platforms but these gratings can also add an architectural flavour to contemporary projects.
Application
Artdeck treads, platforms, bridge decks, working platforms, fly overs and drilling rigs. Artdeck is exceptionally well-suited for decorating and improving concrete walkways (e.g. for wheelchair access).
Properties
- Artdeck is anti-slip
- permeable, creating well-drained, self-supporting surfaces
- sound-deadening, reducing irritating noise in open stairwells
- non-transparent, providing those with a fear of heights a greater feeling of safety
- unlimited creativity for designing patterns with various colours
- also possible to only partially fill gratings
- can also be supplied in drain-controlled version, meaning the water is drained under controlled conditions, allowing you to walk underneath without getting wet.
