Sterlitech - Nitrocellulose Mixed Esters (MCE) Membranes
Sterlitech Nitrocellulose Mixed Esters (MCE) membrane is an unsupported, naturally hydrophilic membrane. It is ideal for use in diagnostic kit manufacturing applications. Sterlitech MCE, a proprietory mixture of nitrocellulose and cellulose acetate, meets rigorous quality standards throughout every step of production. This process ensures the membrane has a uniform pore structure and consistent thickness and cosmetic characteristics. This membrane is cast from a high-quality, nitrocellulose polymer. Its thickness can be controlled to plus or minus 10 microns to accommodate various applications.
These MCE membranes are cast from a high-quality, nitrocellulose polymer (cellulose nitrate and cellulose acetate). The MCE membrane thickness can be controlled to plus or minus 10 microns to accommodate various applications.
Nitrocellulose MCE is easily blocked to give it a very low background. This aids in the detection of low-level analysis which makes the MCE membrane superlative for use in lateral flow assays and dot/slot blotting.
Sterlitech Nitrocellulose MCE is easily blocked giving a very low background. This aids in the detection of low-level analysis and makes this membrane ideal for use in lateral flow assays and dot/slot blotting. The large/consistent pore structure promotes fast wick rates and ensures rapid test results in diagnostic kit applications.
