SISMAT - Stop Log

Stop-logs are preferred in spots where flow control will rarely be required, as they are more cost-effective. Stop-logs are fitted in the channel at spots where service or maintenance will be required. Water flow is interrupted by inserting a number of steel plates into the stop-log frame. A lifting device and pulley are provided for the purpose of removing the plates for releasing the flow after the maintenance period.
