StrongBox - Heavy Duty Wall Mount Enclosure (Weather and Vandal Resistant)

This front-entry enclosure by StrongBox is designed for high durability and resistance to weather and vandalism, crafted entirely from stainless steel. The louvered main housing ensures cross-flow ventilation while deflecting water spray, insects, and dust through filter screens. It includes a removable stainless steel backboard secured by four bolts for mounting various equipment. The door features hemmed edges to eliminate sharp edges, a continuous piano hinge, and a three-point locking mechanism compatible with padlocks. A continuous drainage channel around the door provides a watertight seal with a thermoplastic door gasket. For installation, the enclosure includes stainless steel wall mount hangers and a pre-punched bottom plate for electrical conduit connections. Conveniently, the inside door accommodates instruction or plan storage. This enclosure meets NEMA 3R and UL 508A standards, addressing both environmental and safety requirements. This front entry enclosure is a vandal and weather resistant enclosure formed entirely of stainless steel. The main housing is louvered to allow for cross flow ventilation and filter screens deflect against water spray, insects and dust. A removable stainless steel backboard is provided for mounting various types of equipment and is secured with four stainless steel bolts.

The door is hemmed to eliminate sharp edges and secured with a stainless steel, continuous piano hinge, and a three point locking mechanism with provisions for a padlock. A continuous drainage channel around all sides of door face provides a water-tight seal with the tear drop shaped, hollow center, thermoplastic door seal. Stainless Steel wall mount hanger brackets and pre-punched bottom plate are provided for easy installation and connection of electrical conduit. The inside door also provides adequate storage for instructions or plans. This enclosure is NEMA 3R rated and UL 508A listed.
