StrongBox - Weather and Vandal Resistant Stainless Steel Front Entry Enclosure
This front entry enclosure from StrongBox is designed to withstand both vandalism and harsh weather conditions. Constructed entirely from stainless steel, the enclosure features a louvered main housing that promotes cross flow ventilation, complemented by filter screens that protect against water spray, insects, and dust. The unit includes a removable stainless steel backboard for mounting various equipment, securely held in place with four stainless steel bolts. A continuous piano hinge door with a three-point locking system and padlock provisions ensures security. The door is hemmed to remove sharp edges and features a continuous drainage channel coupled with a thermoplastic seal to guarantee water-tight integrity. Inside, there`s ample space for storage of instructions or plans. The enclosure complies with NEMA 3R standards and is UL 508A listed. This front entry enclosure is a vandal and weather resistant enclosure formed entirely of stainless steel. The main housing is louvered to allow for cross flow ventilation with filter screens to deflect against water spray, insects and dust. A removable stainless steel backboard is provided for mounting various types of equipment and is secured with four stainless steel bolts. The door is hemmed to eliminate sharp edges and secured with a stainless steel, continuous piano hinge and a three point locking mechanism with provisions for a padlock. A continuous drainage channel around all sides of door face provides a water-tight seal with the tear drop shaped, hollow center, thermoplastic door seal. The inside door also provides adequate storage for instructions or plans. This enclosure is NEMA 3R rated and UL 508A listed.
