GA Industries offers a wide range of surge relief valves especially designed for use with raw sewage, wastewater, raw water and other solids-bearing fluids. These valves are available from 2` to 16` (50mm to 400mm) and are standard with ANSI Class 125 flanged streamlined body to minimize the collection of solids cast iron, non-corrosive trim, renewable seat and adjustable closing speed control. Consult factory or submit Surge Checklist for sizing assistance. Larger sizes, higher pressure and ISO/EN flanged valves are available, consult factor for assistance.

GA Industries SURGE RELIEF Valves protect against waterhammer surges created by a sudden flow stoppage such as a pump shutdown or valve closure. These valves are especially designed for use with raw sewage or other debris-laden fluids, opening quickly on pressure rise and closing slowly after the pressure subsides to normal. Our engineers will analyze the surge potential of your system and select size the proper size relief valve upon receipt of a completed "Surge Analysis Checklist."
