TCI - Ring Joint Gaskets

Ring type joint gaskets (same as ring joint gaskets, RTJ)  are primarily used in the Oil, Gas and Petrochemical industries to seal flanged connections subject to high pressure and temperatures, and form a metal to metal seal with the flanges.

The ring joint gaskets fully comply with the ASME B16.20 standard and the API spec 6A requirements (where applicable).

Materials of ring joint gaskets  includes Soft Iron, Low Carbon Steel, F5 Alloy Steel, 410 Alloy Steel, SS304, SS304L, SS316, SS316L, SS347, SS321, Nickel Alloy 625 & 825, Duplex, Super Duplex, Monel & other materials available. 

TCI  RTJ gaskets are manufactured in accordance with API-6A and ASME B16.20 specifications and come in four basic profiles: 

R type (oval and octagonal) solid sections to fit standard ring joint flanges with trapezoidal grooves. 
Types RX and BX with complex bevelled edge sections for wellhead pressures exceeding 700bar 

These basic shapes are used in a variety of applications with pressures up to 20, 000 PSI. The dimensions are standardized and require specially grooved flanges by where a corresponding "R" or "BX" number is assigned for pipe size and pressure class for gasket identification. 

The  Ring joint gaskets are mainly used in  High temperature,high pressure pipeline(steam and petrol industry,petrolchemical industry)tower,trough,heat converter,pipe joints.
