The sensor consists of a Pt-100 element (100 ohms at 0°C) mounted in an aluminum rod. Connection is made via a wired silicone cable. The cable has four conductors, which is why the sensor can be connected with a four-wire, three-wire or two-wire connection to the receiving device.
