ITK Envifront - Model SGAB -Throttle Valve for Dust Filtration
The throttle valve SGAB is a shut off valve intended for dust, sludge, gases and fluids. It can also be used as a draining valve for dust, gas or fluid suspensions, as a dust discharge and as a shut off valve for air and gas at temperatures of up to 80 C. The throttle valve SGAB is availabe for hand maneuvering, pneumatic maneuvrering with shaft actuators and electric valve as well as pneumatic maneuvering with shaft actuators, electric valve and position indication.
By placing two programme-controlled SGAB valves with a container in between,automatical material sluicing can be achieved following cyclones and other dust collectors. The upper valve is normally open, so that the separated material gathers in the middle container. At suitable time intervals, the upper valve is closed while the lower valve is simultaneously opened. The middle container is then emptied and the vales return to the normal position. This method of material discharge can be used regardless of there being underpressure or overpressure in the cyclone.
