Traditional Big Bag

SHARE

The traditional big bag is produced by sewing together polypropylene fabrics; in this way you obtain a parallelepiped with a square or rectangular base whose height must be between 0,5 and 2 times the dimension of the shortest base side, as ruled by UNI EN ISO 21898:2006 rules. The maximum SWL is 2.000 Kg.

From the point of view of the resistance, you can find two different sorts of big bags:

  • Disposable with a safety factor of 5:1 (the big bag put under breaking test must resist at least 5 times the SWL declared after a strain cycle of 30 times the SWL quadrupled).
  • Reusable with a safety factor of 6:1 (the big bag put under breaking test must resist at least 6 times the SWL declared after a strain cycle of 70 times the SWL quadrupled).

The fabric can be coated with a polypropylene film with the aim to make it waterproof.
