PPMTrailer Mounted Probe and Analyzer System for Site Investigation

SHARE

PPM can engineer, bespoke trailer mounted systems comprising both probe and analyser technologies to suit the intended application. The trailer provides a secure and weather proof enclosure for temporary installation allowing site investigation at problematic sites or collection of data during commissioning of new treatment processes.

The engineered system would include frost protection, lighting, electrical distribution and plumbing to the pre-mounted instrumentation. Base units can be installed to provide bench top workstations allowing discrete measurements and additionally providing storage for ancillary items.

A typical monitoring system would also include sample acquisition, sample preparation for analytical measurement, data recording and GSM communications allowing remote access.

Analytical measurements may include Total Organic Carbon to identify organic load; phosphate, nitrate, ammonia to monitor nutrient loading; iron or aluminium where coagulation processes need to be monitored.

Probe technologies can be provided to determine inlet pH or conductivity where traders may impact on biological treatment; DO, ammonium and MLSS within process; and final effluent turbidity to monitor physical water quality.

PPM engineers can provide a commissioning service and assist in site relocation where rapid deployment is required.

Data can be accessed remotely and text messaging can also prove useful to alert scientists and engineers when critical processes may beabout to fail or consent limits could be breached.
