ProCepT - Twin Screw Extruder
The PROCEPT Twin Screw Extruder is designed to be used as an extruder or continuous granulator for small scale feasibility studies to small GMP production runs. The PROCEPT Twin Screw Granulator/Extruder has two co-rotating screws driven by a high torque servo motor, offering several processes capabilities; Hot Melt extrusion, Wet/Melt granulation and Wet Extrusion.
The unit is available as a bench-top set-up, with a separate electrical cabinet and control module, or can be integrated on a wheeled cabinet containing the electrical systems and drive controller. The touch screen computer is attached to a swing arm which can be positioned according to the operator’s preference.
The extruder module could be placed in a fume hood, while keeping the controls accessible for the operator. It is the ideal equipment for R&D.
