Sandvik underground drill rigs come in five product families: mining jumbos, production drill rigs, rock support drill rigs, secondary breaking drill rigs, and tunneling jumbos. Each is specifically designed to suit the particular application in question. Equipped with high-performance hydraulic rock drills, ergonomic controls, and various levels of automatic drilling systems, they are highly productive, extremely reliable, and economical to use. In addition, Sandvik underground drill rigs are characterised by ease of operation and maintenance. In 2010, Sandvik became the sole global distributor for Cubex ITH underground drilling products.
Sandvik mining jumbos come in a wide range of sizes, including low profile and narrow vein units. Designed for underground mine development and small scale tunneling applications to deliver outstanding performance and safety.
Sandvik tophammer production drill rigs offer a comprehensive range of products for different mining methods and mine conditions. Different boom types, carrier size classes and a variety of control systems - ranging from advanced hydraulic to CAN-bus versions ensure optimum system selection for any long hole drilling application.
Cubex’s line of track mounted or rubber-tired articulated ITH drill rigs and booster compressors deliver accurate long production holes. These robust and accurate drills can also be utilized for drilling service holes applications, V-30 slot-raising, wassara water powered applications. Reverse circulation for ground sampling is also possible.
Sandvik rock support drill rigs are designed to drill holes and install bolts rapidly after blasting. Rock support drill rigs can handle all typical bolt dimensions and any type of commonly used bolts, including cable. The full bolting cycle can be conducted safely by one operator.
Sandvik tunneling jumbos come in a wide range of sizes with 2-3 booms and optional utility boom. Available with high levels of automation, they are designed for long accurate rounds and very fast cycle times.
Sandvik secondary breaking drill rigs increase your productivity by breaking oversized boulders, without the need for explosives and time-consuming ventilation and evacuation measures. Remote control operation removes users to a safe working distance.
