This Enviro-USA boom is highly recommended by Port Authorities as the appropriate size for Unprotected Ports due to its bigger float which offers a higher freeboard that will prevent splash over due to windy conditions and choppy water. The primary users are spill response contractors.

Why use Oil Containment Booms?

Oil containment booms are used in water as a first response to an oil spill or by Spill Response Contractors to divert, control and maintain an oil spill. Once the spill has been contained the contractor will then proceed to recuperate and clean up the oil.

 9” freeboard & 6” draft, 22 oz. PVC fabric, ballast chain, ASTM connectors and a top tension cable.

This boom was designed for FAST DEPLOYMENT and 1,000 ft can be deployed in about 8-10 minutes. FAST DEPLOYMENT boom is stored and deployed from a Manual or Hydraulic Reel. A compact manual reel can store around 300’ of this boom. This reel can be maneuvered around and all 300’ deployed by one person. This boom will also work in protected ports, inlets, harbors, estuaries, marinas, bays, streams, ditches, brooks, creeks, swamps, lagoons and wetlands.
