Luminor Blackcomb - Model 6.1 -UV Water Treatment System
The BLACKCOMB 6.1 UV Water Treatment System from LUMINOR is designed to provide comprehensive UV treatment for whole-home water systems. It features a precise 254nm discrete UV monitor for continuous system monitoring. The system employs Teflon technology to minimize fouling and includes options for a solenoid shut-off valve and a 4-20mA output for remote monitoring or data logging. Its user interface displays UV intensity and lamp life, and it supports system diagnostics. The system's controller is housed in a splash-proof case and has an upgrade port for future expansions. Constructed with rugged 304 stainless steel, it facilitates lamp changes without draining the chamber. The system operates effectively with low-pressure UV lamps, rated for 9,000 hours, ensuring stable output. Offering flow rates between 20 and 80 lpm in both 120V and 230V applications, it comes in NSF Class B or A variants, catering to various residential needs.
For comprehensive whole home water UV treatment consider LUMINOR's BLACKCOMB 6.1 line of products. Incorporating a true 254nm discrete UV monitor, this BLACKCOMB series offers continuous monitoring.
Using Teflon technology for reduced fouling, these sensors allow for the addition of a solenoid shut-off valve and a 4-20mA output allowing for remote monitoring or data logging. A colour user interface allows for easy visual identification of UV intensity, remaining lamp life and any error or fault codes as well as a monitoring of a full system diagnostic on start-up. The system also incorporates QR codes to access lamp change information and videos via web access. The controller is a constant current electronic power source and is housed in a splash-proof case that comes standard with a “future-proof” expandability port for future upgrades or options.
Rugged 304 stainless steel, single-end reactors allow for lamp change without the need to drain the reactor chamber. Low pressure (LP) coated UV lamps are used offering a consistent output over their 9,000 hour rated life and come paired with LUMINOR's encrypted lamp key to protect against improper use.
Flow rates of 20, 40, 57 & 80 lpm (6, 10, 15 & 20 gpm), in both 120V or 230V applications, are offered in the BLACKCOMB 6.1 series of products. Also available in NSF Class B or NSF Class A.
