Oxydest -Â Vacuum Distillation Plant
Oxydest. Give your distillate the finishing touch. The sustainable reclamation of industrial wastewater has become increasingly important in recent years. Vacuum distillation has established itself as the most economical method. The reason for this is the high potential for savings in disposal: This is because 100% wastewater produces up to 98% recyclable distillate and only 2% residual impurities, which can be disposed of cost-effectively.
However, optimum wastewater treatment is not only sustainable and economical; the quality of the treated water also plays an important role. Thanks to our innovative technologies, the treatment result is usually crystal clear and can be fed back into the production process under the best conditions.
However, volatile organic substances, such as alcohols, are transferred into the distillate during the evaporation process and can thus prevent compliance with limit values or internal criteria.
Safe compliance with limit values and reuse of the distillate without hesitation.
Above all, however, when complying with a wide variety of limit values, the distillate must be of particularly high quality and thus also have a low COD, the value for organic contaminants, for example. In addition to oils and fats, organic contaminants also include solvents and alcohols, which cannot be completely separated by evaporation technology. Therefore, our application center for wastewater-free production has developed the Oxydest technology.
With our Oxydest technology it is possible to give the distillate a final polish with low residual contamination (500 mg/l -1000 mg/l COD), among other things by means of UV light.
In this way, even highly volatile substances can be removed from the distillate and recirculation can be implemented even with the highest quality requirements.
- Suitable for almost all organic contaminants, such as alcohols, solvents, and corrosion inhibitors.
- Active pharmaceutical ingredients (API) are degraded.
- Highest distillate quality with low space requirement and fully integrated system.
- More time for the essentials: No operating effort thanks to fully automatic operation
