Vanguard WirelessHART - Fixed Point Gas Detector
The Vanguard WirelessHART, fixed point gas detector is designed to detect gas emissions in areas with power and signal wire limitations. It significantly reduces engineering and deployment time and costs. A true wireless device with 5-year battery life and wireless HART communication, Vanguard utilizes interchangeable toxic or combustible sensors that can be hot swapped via UE’s patented FlexSenseTM technology.
Model TCD60 for use in Groups A, B, C & D / IIC Zones. The TCD60 allows a choice between 3 different antennas ranges (2.0, 4.35, or 6 dBi) and the antenna is swappable in the field. The TCD60 has the capability of adding a 20 ft remote antenna extension.
Model TCD50 for use in Groups C & D / IIB Zones. The TCD50 uses a fixed, non-swappable 2.0 dBi antenna.
Typical applications that utilize Vanguard include tank farm over fill, remote enclosed locations, fence line and emissions monitoring, well plugging and abandonment (P&A).
